Birthing a Move of God Through Prayer
Birthing a Move of God Through Prayer
There are seasons where God is inviting His people to step out of maintenance and into movement. Not by striving, but through prayer that births. Apostolic birthing prayer is how heaven’s purposes are formed on earth. For our Burning Ones community, who life a life of prayer, this is about learning to tapping into the mandate of the Church by birthing moves of God in prayer.
Prayer is the Gateway to Transition
Every significant move of God begins through prayer. Before deliverance came to Israel, there was a cry of prayer. Before the early Church was released, there was unity in prayer. Before Jesus stepped into key moments, He withdrew to pray.
Prayer isn’t an optional extra, it is our lifeline, source of direction and our stratergy. It is a doorway into the Kingdom.
When we pray, we align ourselves with heaven’s timing and activity. We become like the men of Issachar—those who understand the times and know what to do. Prayer positions us to discern what God is doing and partner with it.
Prayer Births What God Wants to Do
Prayer is God’s chosen method for birthing:
Breakthrough
Transition
New seasons
Kingdom advancement
What God has spoken is carried into reality through a praying people.
From Enoch to Moses, from Anna to the disciples, Church history shows us that those who pray become those who carry.
Prayer builds strength internally while shaping reality externally. It releases clarity, strengthens resolve, and invites divine assistance. This is how an apostolic people are formed—through deep, consistent communion with God.
Prayer Sustains the Move, Not Just Starts It
What prayer births, prayer must sustain.
Movements don’t grow through strategy alone, but through sustained presence. Prayer keeps us humble, aligned, and dependent. It ensures we don’t touch the glory but remain carriers of it.
If we want to see:
Disciples making disciples
Churches planting churches
Movements multiplying
Then prayer must remain central—not seasonal.
