Sent Ones
One of the key elements of the life of a Burning One is a life on mission. We live as sent ones. But what does it really mean to be sent? Not just inspired, not just called—but sent by God into everyday spaces with purpose and power. This isn’t about platforms or positions; it’s about a lifestyle rooted in intimacy with Jesus, expressed through obedience, and lived out on mission. If we’re serious about seeing lives transformed—both locally and among the unreached—then we need to rediscover what it means to live as sent ones.
Sentness Starts in the Secret Place
Being sent doesn’t begin with strategy—it begins with with a hidden life. A life that carries God outward must first be formed by God inwardly.
There’s a deep truth here: private purity produces public power. When no one is watching, what we choose matters. Our prayer life, our devotion to the Word, our integrity—this is where real power is formed.
We don’t drift into effectiveness; we’re formed into it in the secret place. If we want to see God move through us, we must prioritise being with Him before doing for Him.
Sent Into Everyday Mission
Being sent isn’t reserved for a select few—it’s the identity of every believer. You don’t need a plane ticket to be on mission. Your street, your workplace, your school—these are your mission fields.
God is already at work around you. The invitation is simple: join Him. This means living with awareness, stepping into conversations, and being bold enough to share Jesus when the opportunity comes.
Obedience Unlocks Impact
We don’t have to have all the answers, what matter is your yes!
Obedience is where transformation happens. Small steps of faith—praying for someone, starting a conversation, responding to a prompting—these are the moments that carry eternal weight.
God isn’t looking for perfection; He’s looking for availability. When we move in obedience, He moves in power.

Action Points
Prioritise time with God daily—protect your secret place.
Ask: Where has God already sent me? Start there.
Take one bold step this week—pray, speak, or act when prompted.
You are not just called—you are sent. And as you go, you carry His presence, His power, and His purpose into the world.
